Inspired by the iconic weapon wielded by Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill, this collectible katana measures 104 cm in total, with a 69 cm unsharpened stainless steel blade. The base of the blade is decorated with an engraving of a Shisa – a mythical creature half-lion, half-dog – a symbol of protection in Okinawa and a nod to Hattori Hanzo’s favorite animal in the film universe. The handle imitates the texture of white stingray skin, wrapped in black cotton braiding, for a faithful and elegant visual effect. The black lacquered scabbard also features engravings recalling the signature of the fictional master blacksmith.
In the stylized and sharp world of Kill Bill, Beatrix Kiddo's katana—nicknamed The Bride—is much more than just a weapon: it's a symbol of survival, revenge, and personal honor. Forged by the legendary Hattori Hanzo, this sword accompanies the heroine in her methodical hunt for the former members of the Viper Assassin squadron.
This decorative replica echoes the visual codes of the katana seen on screen: a stainless steel blade with a unique engraving at its base depicting a Shisa, a creature from Okinawan folklore. This traditional symbol, often placed at the entrance to homes, is believed to ward off evil spirits—a subtle reference to the purifying role Beatrix plays through her quest.
The handle, carefully crafted to resemble the texture of ray skin, is wrapped in hand-braided black cord. It offers a good visual balance and recalls the artisanal details of authentic Japanese katanas. The black, varnished wooden scabbard is adorned with engraved motifs that evoke the aesthetic of traditional Japanese master swordsmiths, embodied here by Hattori Hanzo.
Ideal for Japanese sword lovers, Tarantino film enthusiasts, or as a centerpiece for a pop culture collection, this katana offers a faithful reproduction while respecting purely decorative use.
